What Jeff Enjoys About Practicing Law

As General Counsel of several Brazos Valley companies, I developed a diverse legal practice based on the wide variety of issues facing each company. I represent both companies and individuals regarding employment issues, including policy and procedure manuals, workplace safety, workers’ compensation and unemployment claims; the ownership and operation of farm and ranch property, including all types of transactions associated with such property; issues related to oil and gas, including leasing of oil and gas rights, drilling and production of oil and gas wells and payout of oil and gas revenues; and the development and licensing of intellectual property. In his capacity as General Counsel, I have also been involved in litigation related to real estate, condemnation, oil and gas, construction law, breach of contract, personal injury and employment issues.

Jeff's Experience

I earned my J.D. at South Texas College of Law in 2004.  I was on the Dean’s Honor List 2001 and 2003 Fall Semesters and graduated Cum Laude.  In the 2003 Fall Semester of Marital Property, I earned the Highest Grade Award.  My B.S. was earned in 2001 at Texas A&M University.
